Iselin Real Estate

Iselin, New Jersey is in Woodbridge Township, Middlesex County. Iselin is an unincorporated area that has a total footprint of 3.1 square miles. According to the 2010 Census, there were 18,695 people, 6,445 households, and 4,892 families residing in the CDP. As Iselin is in Woodbridge Township, Woodbridge Township School District provides primary education for students, although a number of schools are actually in Iselin: Elementary Schools #18, 24, and 26, as well as Iselin Middle School and John F. Kennedy Memorial High School. Iselin has a downtown area, found on Oak Tree Road which has many shops, restaurants, and other areas of interest. Iselin’s business district is known as Metropark which is mostly comprised of office parks and buildings. Areas closest to Iselin include Colonia, Woodbridge, Avenel, Metuchen, and South Plainfield.

Iselin's downtown is centered on Oak Tree Road, bound by the Garden State Parkway to the West, and Route 27(Lincoln Highway) to the East. This downtown area of local shops started to decline in late 1980's and into 1990. An influx of Asian Indian immigration beginning in the early 1990s led to the area's revitalization. Formerly vacant stores were tenanted, and additional retail spaces built as the area became known for its high quality Indian food, sweets, clothing (particularly saris), jewelry, music, and other goods.

Colonia Real Estate

Colonia, New Jersey is an unincorporated area in Woodbridge Township. According to the 2010 Censusensus, there were 17,795 people, 6,160 households, and 4,977 families residing in the CDP; Colonia has a total area of 3.9 square miles. Colonia has four elementary schools: Claremont Avenue Elementary School #20, Lynn Crest Elementary School #22, Oak Ridge Heights Elementary School #21, and Pennsylvania Avenue Elementary School #27. Additionally, Colonia has one middle school and one high school: Colonial Middle School and Colonia High School. Areas closest to Colonia are Iselin, Rahway, and Clark.

Edison Real Estate

Edison Township, New Jersey is in Middlesex County. According to the 2010 Census,Edison had a total population of 99,967, retaining its position as the fifth most populous muniicipality in New Jersey; Edison occupies 30.7 square miles. Thomas Edison lived in Edison Township (formerly Raritan Township) and set up his Menlo Park research lab here. Edison Township completely surrounds Metuchen and is close to Scotch Plains Township, Clark Township, Woodbridge Township, New Brunswick, Plainfield, Perth Amboy, and Middlesex.
